Celebrating Wonder Women

This month at Gingersnap Creations, we are highlighting amazing women: the famous and the infamous, the mothers and the mavens, the demure and the debutantes, the goddesses and the girlfriends.

While May is well known for a time to celebrate mothers, we also wanted to celebrate the decidedly helpful skill of multi-tasking. We want to celebrate and applaud the way that women can juggle many different roles, tasks and dreams and do it all with panache and style!

We hope you keep coming back to check in on our celebration of women and our tribute to multi-tasking mavens!

Here's my first simple salute to a Wonder Woman - Ginger Rogers!

To stay true to the whole theme for the month, I have multi-tasked by doing two challenges in one! I used the colors from the GC08 Color Challenge: Tan, Teal & Blue and used a bit of ribbon to go along with the Splitcoast Stampers Clean and Simple Challenge CAS12.

Ginger Rogers is My Idol
Stamps:
shoes (Impression Obsession); sentiment (Inkadinkado)
Cardstock: Taken with Teal, Night of Navy, Creamy Caramel & Whisper White (Stampin Up)
Ink: Night of Navy & Creamy Caramel (Stampin Up)
Embellishments: 3/8" oatmeal ribbon (Offray)

If you are looking for some great way to use your stray pieces of ribbon, check out Ali's article - 10 Ways to Use Ribbon Scraps. She has come up with some great uses for all those bits and snips we make when creating our masterpieces.

Celebrate all the fabulous women in your life this month!
