This month's manufacturer in the spotlight is My Favorite Things. We just love their delightful, clear stamps! Their signature stamp line, Who's That Girl?, drawn by artist Christy Beckwith, is so distinctive and fun.
And they have recently added some fun new characters to their cast: the adorable Flopsey the Bunny, sassy BC Dzyns and cute little Ellie.
Most of their images are line art drawings with lots of open space, which makes them perfect for so many techniques, such as watercoloring, coloring with Copic markers or Primsa pencils and my personal favorite, paper piecing.
What we thought was really cool about MFT is how generous Kim van der Sanden and her design team are about sharing techniques and ideas. They have their own forum on Splitcoaststampers and each week they post a How'd They Do That thread, which explains a technique or shows a project.
A lot of stamp companies have super talented designers producing fabulous samples each month, but sometimes they can be a little intimidating. Not so at MFT! Their designers do fabulous work, but they show you how you can do that too - that's awesome and empowering!
You'll be seeing more MFT projects on Gingersnap Creations over the next month. In the meantime, why not hop over their site and check out their brand new May releases - they're a lot of fun!
