GCSP2: Once in a Blue Moon
- CASE a CAS

Wow! Time for another Once in a Blue Moon Challenge again! Fun!

This time, we are sending you into the archives for another amazing adventure in creativity!

Ali Manning is our resident Maven of Minimalism and has brought us a lot of great Clean and Simple projects over the last few months. Your task for this challenge is to

CASE a CAS!

Pick one of Ali's fabulous projects and give it a twist of your own. Choose from the following articles:

Clean and Simple Cards with Ephemera

Clean and Simple Cards with Patterned Paper

Monochromatic Clean and Simple Cards

Clean and Simple Warhol-Style

Clean and Simple: Let the Paper Shine

Clean and Simple Notecard Set

Have a ton of fun!

Our fabulous December sponsor, Hearts in Touch, has graciously donated some blog candy!

The randomly drawn winner of this challenge will receive an unmounted single from Hearts in Touch's fabulous Song Titles plate. Here's a little peek:

For your chance to win this fabulous blog candy, just follow the simple guidelines below:

1) Make a papercrafting or mixed media creation using one of Ali's Clean and Simple cards as a springboard for your own creativity;

2) Post your creation to your blog or online gallery with a mention and link to this post; and

3) Come back to this post and leave a comment including a link to your creation or use Mister Linky below. Remember to make it a link to the specific post or picture and not just a general link to your blog or gallery. We need to be able to find your art!

For more information on our challenges and directions on linking, please check out our FAQ page.

One winner will be chosen at random from the qualifying submissions on January 28, 2010. You have until January 26, 2010 to enter!

We've done a few ourselves! Here's some art from our wonderful Design Team and our Visiting Hearts in Touch Artist, Jackie Kalchert:

  1. How fun! I bought two sheets of new images from Frances a couple of months ago but haven't inked any until today. I love Clean and Simple, but all the other DT creations are fantastic, as well. I posted my card on my blog.

  9. I hope "clean and simple" doesn't mean it has to be "centered". No matter how hard I try, I just can't picture things centered.
