Way back when, I took a Rubber Stamping 101 class and I remember how thrilling it was the first time I heat embossed an image. Watching the powder melt into a shiny, hard surface was so much fun. Sometimes it's good to revisit those early techniques. For this challenge, you could heat emboss a line art image and color it, emboss a solid image or create a resist technique - anything with embossing powder goes!
Our January sponsor, Serendipity Stamps, has very kindly donated some blog candy.
The randomly drawn winner of the embossing challenge will win this beautiful Victorian Hearts cling stamp set.
For your chance to win this fabulous blog candy, just follow the simple guidelines below:
1) Make a papercrafting or mixed media creation using embossing powder in some way;
2) Post your creation to your blog or online gallery with a mention and link to this post; and
3) Come back to this post and leave a comment including a link to your creation or use Mister Linky below. Remember to make it a link to the specific post or picture and not just a general link to your blog or gallery. We need to be able to find your art!
For more information on our challenges and directions on linking, please check out our FAQ page.
One winner will be chosen at random from the qualifying submissions on February 9, 2010. You have until February 7, 2010 to enter!
