Happy New Year and Welcome to a New Theme

Happy 2010!

I cannot believe that we have made it through the first decade of the new millenium! We, at Gingersnap Creations, have time on our mind this month! I, for one, have a natural impulse to resist the forward motion of time, so we are combining a theme of Time with resist techniques in January!

So, welcome to January and our efforts to resist time! Helping us in this pursuit is Seredipity Stamps, our challenge sponsor for this month!

We hope you will spend some of your time with us this month!

Here's a sneak peak at what you can expect:

~ an exclusive interview with the owner of Serendipity Stamps, Mary Lee
~ a look at some beautiful Serendipity Stamp creations from papercraft artist, Yvonne Hagane
~ 4 new challenges: Chestnut Theme, Spicy Supply, Color, and Random Redhead Challenges
~ another fantastic tutorial from Hels Sheridan
~ more of Ali Manning's fabulous art
~ the ever-popular Reasons to Stamp feature; and
~ a brand new Redhead Review

As As time passes, Gingersnap Creations keeps changing too.

Look for our picks for Ginger Gems in each wrap-up! While we will still give you a ton of time to complete each challenge, we are switching our wrap-ups a little bit. As we mentioned last week, we will be picking 5 Ginger Gems, creations we feel really exemplified that challenge's objective, for each challenge as well as our randomly drawn winner!

Our 5 Ginger Gems will be highlighted in the wrap-up post as well as in a slideshow on our blog sidebar for the week following the challenge. Our randomly drawn winner will also be featured on our blog sidebar as well as having their art featured on the front page of our Yahoo Group for the week.

The new year will see some changes for our Yahoo Group too as we add exclusive projects, content and challenges just for members as well as new exciting Art Exchanges!

Hope you come and while away a few moments with the Gingersnap Creations Crew!

Here's wishing all the Gingersnappers out there a wonderful New Year's Day and a sensational year ahead with lots of fun, love, and laughter!
