Annette Goatley: Masking a Candle the Rustic Way!

Supplies: A shop-bought Candle and some Cinnamon Sticks, Saw or Knife, Twine and PVA glue.

Cut the Cinnamon Sticks to the same height as the candle. Keep the wastage as it will be great to use on other projects.

Apply PVA along the length of one Cinnamon Stick and press firmly onto the candle, ensuring that the stick doesn't overhang the Candle.

Continue doing this until Candle is covered........allow some time to dry. Then wrap a length of string around the Cinnamon Sticks a few times and tie a knot.

You can add decorations, flowers, birds etc which would look great, but have kept this one plain so you can see it clearly. The smell of this Rustic Candle is heavenly.

If you would like to make one of these please let me know so I can visit you.

Have fun, Annette
